The VisitScotland scheme for access for the disabled is part of our quality-assurance programme. Each establishment and attraction is carefully assessed by a VisitScotland Quality Advisor using strict criteria, before being awarded a Category One, Two or Three award. The criteria are given in the brochure so that you can identify your requirements, but we do recommend that you double-check with the accommodation or attraction when you book.
We have also set up a special page on the web site, which is due to go live soon at- www.visitscotland.com/library/accessiblescotland The website will have information on the criteria and you will be able to search for suitable accommodation for your clients.
