Adventure Summit comes to Scotland!
VisitScotland in partnership with the Cairngorms National Park is delighted to host the 7th Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS), the annual global gathering of adventure tourism professionals in Aviemore in October 2010. Previous summits have been held in the United States, Norway, Brazil and Canada (2007 in British Columbia, 2009 in Quebec).
Up to 600 delegates representing nearly 50 countries worldwide are anticipated to attend the summit at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort. The summit's four day conference will be preceded by 14 separate Pre-Summit Adventures across Scotland over the weekend of 30th September-3rd October. During the 4 day summit delegates with get the opportunity to participate in the Day of Adventure, attend a buyer-supplier workshop, seminars and network events.
